When a Misplaced ‘not’ Means ‘does’ In the English Language

Maybe it’s the age that we’re living in, or maybe it’s just my actual age, but some of the things that are happening to the English language are starting to baffle me. Here’s an example of the most recent, and possibly most annoying thing that seems to have seeped into our modern take on the English language.

There are a large number of people around today that don’t seem to see the irony in some of the things that they are actually saying due to the misplaced ‘not’. I read an article recently that was talking about how to cope with anxiety…
